This allows each student to self-assess compression rate and allows the instructor to quickly and easily monitor multiple students. In addition to visually monitoring the rate of CPR, students will also hear an audible beep when the chest is pressed to an appropriate depth of 2.0-2.4 inches, allowing them to feel the actual force needed to perform real chest compressions.
