Application:

• Select injection site (proximal or distal tibia, humerus).
• Disinfect the skin at the injection site.
• Remove the protective cap from the device.
• Position the NIO perpendicular to the skin surface at the selected site.
• Press the device to activate the needle insertion mechanism.
• Verify proper needle placement by aspirating a small amount of bone marrow or observing a light injection of solution.
• Secure the device with a fixation dressing.
• Connect the infusion system and begin administering the necessary medications.
• After the infusion is complete, carefully remove the device using sterile techniques.
• Place a dressing over the infusion site.
