Application:

• Ensure that the skin at the site where the bandage is applied is clean and dry.
• If there are open wounds, apply a sterile dressing before using the elastic bandage.
• Start bandaging from the lower limb, gradually moving upwards.
• Make the first turn without tension to secure the beginning of the bandage.
• Apply subsequent turns with even tension, overlapping the previous layer by 50%.
• Avoid excessive tension so as not to impair circulation.
• When bandaging is complete, secure the end of the bandage with special clips or by placing it under the previous layer.
• Make sure that the bandage does not cause discomfort, numbness or discoloration of the skin.
• If these symptoms occur, loosen the bandage or remove it.
• After use, it is recommended to hand wash the bandage in warm water with mild soap and water.
• Dry in a straightened state, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources.
