QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-Folded is a hemostatic bandage impregnated with hemostatic agent, an excellent tool for stopping bleeding and tamponade. The basis of hemostatic QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-Folded hemostatic bandage is kaolin, a natural absorbent, which in contact with blood causes rapid blood clotting and subsequent stopping of bleeding. The bandage material allows the hemostatic dressing to be diagnosed on radiographs. Application: 

• Open the packaging and remove the bandage.
• Save the empty package.
• Place the bandage on the wound and apply pressure. You may need more than one bandage.
• Fill the entire wound with the bandage.
• Apply pressure to the wound for about 3 minutes or until the bleeding stops.
• Wrap the wound with firm pressure.
• Seek professional help. Show medical personnel the empty package.
